GUIDED VISITS FOR GROUPS
La Fàbrica Transparent examines the relationship between work and leisure time, and between play and work.
Years ago, the 8-hour workday was clearly defined. It was easy to tell the difference between work and leisure. Workers, after leaving the factory or office, have no further obligations. As we live in an increasingly digital world, work becomes more flexible and decentralised. Often, personal time is dedicated to training. On social media, we are simultaneously generators and receivers of content. And video games increasingly resemble a complement to the workday, with short games, simple rules, repetitive routines, and rewards according to the logic of capitalism. We have entered a digital hegemony that conquers screens and confuses the boundaries between leisure time and work time, between unproductivity and hyperactivity.
A playful visit: encouraging critical thinking
In this visit participants will look at and think about the artworks of the various artists in the exhibition. Games and activities related to selected artworks will allow participants to activate their critical faculties through play and artistic practices.
